Site works have been completed at the Exploding! Shed House block, but not without a fair bit of hassle and stress.
As is the case most often with a sub-divided block in an established area, the whole of the lot was once the whole of someone’s backyard. Before the relatively new idea of rubbish collection or even communal rubbish tips, it seems a lot of folk were very happy to dig a large hole in the backyard and fill it with waste; this lot was no exception.
So after excavating much more earth than was hoped the rubbish has been removed and the site compacted and ready for the ground slab. You might also spy in the photo here that the first electrical run-in has been laid by the electrician, and the water and gas lines are soon to follow.
