Happy new year from the DWA office!
With a new year comes new and exciting projects. The Expanding Townhouse in North Perth features a revitalisation of a 1970’s split-level home, and involves some rearranging, pushing, and pulling to create space, light, and a fresh outlook. We’re currently in the process of documenting the project, we’ll be sure to keep you updated on new encounters along the way.
Construction is well and truly underway for The Exploding! Shed House in Mt Lawley, with the eventual arrival of the cladding systems from far-away England. Karin’s L’il House Blog features a light-hearted look at current happenings, with a full written update from DWA coming in the next week or two.
A new commission from the owners of The Blue Room in the Perth Cultural Precinct, with a request to renovate and reinvigorate the ageing bar to an appealing space for all visitors. With collaboration from A Good Looking Man, DWA is excited to announce this project to the public, with sketch design in progress. More updates to come.
The East Fremantle Residence is currently under tender, with approval from the Fremantle Council given. Not much has been mentioned about this project, but there will be more news to come on this exciting new construction.
These projects are only from the surface; there are more and more developments every week at the DWA office. We’ll endeavour to keep you informed on new movements more frequently, so make sure you’ve got us bookmarked. It’s going to be a great year!
