With a wonderful blue sky, we couldn’t stay inside the office today – especially when the slab of The East Fremantle House has been adorned with beautiful recycled brick walls.
These walls are the final finish for both the interior and exterior, and will lend a texture and a lived-in-ness to this new home.
We walked around the walls, visualising the open plan kitchen, living and dining areas, marking the slab with a limestone as a makeshift pencil. The boundary planter box has also been built from the same recycled clay brick, and should look stunning, filled with greenery that will flourish in due time.
With a few more days like this, it’ll only be a matter of time before we see this building site become a finished small family home…
